new product line of music video packages. To go together with the launch they are
proud to bring you a new and very exciting competition in which you can win
yourself a professional music video.
All you need to do is write your music video treatment, which is your music video
in story form (maxiumum 2 pages of A4) and submit it via any of the methods on the Music Video UK website. The most fun, interesting and
original entry will get their music video shot.

SKETCHWORK PROMOTES ELITE SPORTS FOR
CORNWALL COLLEGE

SketchWork Productions have recently wrapped on the 2009 Cornwall College - Elite Sports Promotional DVD.
This DVD shows the diversity of sports that the college has to offer including Football, Basketball, Golf as well as some more unusual sports such as Equestrian and Rock Climbing.
The promo will be available online from the Cornwall College website at the beginning of November.

Big Buck Bunny

SKETCHWORK SUPPORT BIG BUCK!

This year SketchWork Productions was happy to support the Open Source Blender 3D project, "Big Buck Bunny". Although as a company we use SoftImage XSI as our preferred 3D development environment after seeing what could be created from a free open source application we offered the SketchWork servers to host the UK mirror for the project.
If you are unsure about 3D, a beginner dabbling in 3D or a seasoned pro, check out the final "free to download" High Definition movie, Big Buck Bunny. You'll have to agree that the quality and fine detail they have captured is breathtaking and in many ways far more detailed than what you see from modern day major 3D animation studios.

New Sci-Fi Movie

SKETCHWORK GO TO SPACE AND BEYOND
12th June 2008
June marks an exciting month for SketchWork Productions as we have taken on the position of Rushes Editor and Post Production Editor for a new science fiction movie for which at present the name is still highly classified.
This exciting short movie enters production in Norwich, England at the end of June and is due for release towards the end of the year.

NEWQUAY EVENT IS BACK BETTER THAN EVER

SketchWork Productions have once again taken on the responsibility to event manage the main summer Newquay Event.
After the success of last years "Summer Warm-Up Event" we are pleased to be back in 2008 to bring a longer and more exciting event to the people of Newquay. This year there will be a variety of entertainment for four whole days that will provide for all ages and tastes.
The event dates this year are Friday 22nd August to Monday 25th August 2008. As this is towards the end of the season, this year the event is entitled "Newquay Summer Finale".

to film the National Climate Change Conference in Plymouth's fantastic National
Marine Aquarium.

SKETCHWORK to Launch Film Careers in Cornwall
24th January 2008
Cornish based SketchWork Productions is the company to keep an eye on
over the next couple of months as they ignite their latest feature film project
that is looking to benefit many Cornish industries.
One of the founding aspects of SketchWork was to generate 'real' film
opportunities for Cornish companies and bring larger budget productions into
the county. Not only does this put Cornish film, sound and lighting crews to
work, but it will also provide work for many other industries as a result of
the shoot. "There are many good crews in Cornwall who rarely get an opportunity
to show off their talent" says Justin Heasman, managing director of SketchWork,
"it is disheartening to see that when film work does arrive in Cornwall, crews
are brought in from out of the county". Matthew Dymond, co-director of
SketchWork continues, "our vision is not only to generate work for
Cornish film crews, but also to kick start the careers of many actors and
actresses wanting to break into the industry".
Cornwall is renowned for its beautiful scenery, which SketchWork wish
to show off in their films, however Justin is keen to add that "we greatly
respect the Cornish landscape and by no means will this production have a
detrimental effect on its beauty".
The 10 month project has entered the pre-production phase and is looking to
enter production in the summer. Please check the local press and the SketchWork
website for regular updates on auditions and ways in which you can get involved
in this great project.

SketchWork Productions are to take on a project that takes them back
in time. Discovery Tours is a new company that are planning to launch you on an
tour experience into the history of Plymouth.
We are pleased to have been commissioned into providing all the footage for the
movie. SketchWork Productions will be responsible for shooting the
short movie that will sit at the heart of the experience. The project is
looking to be heavily special effects driven to really make this an experience
of a lifetime. We have been throwing some ideas around that will definately
make this trip like no other.
